The foundation of Wahid Industries was laid by Mr. Abdul Wahid (Late) back in 1936 and the company initialized its operations and started manufacturing light engineering and utility products in the era of the sub-continent when the availability of valuable resources, assistance and guidance was not technically possible. The history of Wahid industries embarked brilliance, excellence, dedication and motivation as the only motto of our late President Mr. Abdul Wahid was “No Compromise on quality”, indeed paved the way for successfully establishing PAK FANS as the leading fan manufacturer in Pakistan.

 

 

 

Our Remarkable Journey To Success

 

The journey to success was actually started before the genesis of Pakistan i.e. in 1945 when the company started manufacturing electric fans. By 1962, the company ranked first among the top companies in Pakistan and followed by the extension in product line by introducing diverse models and increasing range over the coming years.

 

The new concept of remote controlled fans was introduced in 1989 soon after the installation of a modern automatic Japanese plant to manufacture Enameled Copper wires of top international quality under the brand name PAK SUPER in 1981.

 

As a responsible corporate citizen, the company encouraged and contributed to social uplift programs, setting up a modern hospital equipped with the latest facilities and top-notch medical personnel in Gujrat in 1990. The year 1992 saw the installation of the latest CNC machines and injection molding machines to make the company more self-reliant in its production. In 1993, the company diversified its operations and started manufacturing washing machines with both plastic and metal bodies. In 1997, Wahid Industries took on another project and started manufacturing driers and room air coolers.

 

In 1999, Pak Fan achieved the highest international quality award, becoming an ISO-9002 certified company. The company also won the FPCCI Trophy in 1999-2000. In 2000, the company exported fans for the first time and marked its international presence. In 2001, the company won the highest export trophy award and has been achieving it ever since.

 

In 2007, an automated paint plant was installed to improve the finish of the products as well as reduce environmental pollution. Today, PAK HOME APPLIANCES is the utmost choice in Pakistan as well as abroad, all because of the company's innovative excellence and ever-evolving technological process.
